Dr. Linda Buggs

Quiet, unassuming, but progressive-minded are the characteristics most touted about Dr. Linda Buggs. She was born in Grand Junction, Tennessee, and graduated from Middleton High School in 1982. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin, Master's degree in Education and Administration from Freed-Hardeman University in 1994, Education Specialist degree from Union University in 2004, and doctoral degree in Leadership and Professional Practice from Trevecca Nazarene University in 2020. Dr. Buggs has served in education for 31 years, of which 20 of those years were as principal. She has made innovative changes at the school to create a better learning environment for the children and better working conditions for the staff. Dr. Buggs believes that teachers cultivate students’ minds, thus creating a mindset that is conducive to learning.
